Since 1989, The Bar Code Book has been the definitive reference text book for all aspects of printing, reading, specifying, using, and understanding bar code symbols (both legacy, and the newer 2-dimensional symbols). Now in its fifth edition, over 50,000 copies of this book have been sold. There are no plans for a sixth edition! Although it is getting a bit "long in the tooth", The Bar Code Book is still a great reference.
